How to service and repair the Throttle Position Sensor on 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 1500?

The Throttle Position Sensor can be serviced by disconnecting the negative battery cable, disconnecting the generator and breaking the electrical connector of the TP sensor. Take off the TP sensor and O-ring seal. Attach the new TP sensor including the O-ring making sure that everything is aligned and then, reconnect and screw everything in place.
