    Q:
How to service and repair the Throttle Position Sensor on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
You need to begin Throttle Position Sensor maintenance by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. After disconnecting the position (TP) sensor electrical connector begin by removing the generator. Start by unscrewing the tp sensor attaching screws during the sensor disassembly process and then extract both the sensor and its o-ring seal from the position. Install the tp sensor o-ring seal onto the tp sensor first then set the tp sensor onto the Throttle Body when the throttle valve rests in the closed position maintaining proper alignment of the tp sensor lever with the tp sensor drive lever on the throttle shaft. Attach and screw in the tp sensor attaching screws before tightening them to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Connect the tp sensor electrical connector first then install the generator and complete the installation by reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
