How to replace the vehicle speed sensor in an Allison automatic transmission on 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 1500?

Before working on the new vehicle speed sensor you need to switch off the engine and remove the external wiring harness from its connection. Twist and remove the bolt that holds the speed sensor in place before taking out the speed sensor itself. You should never turn the new speed sensor while putting it into the retaining bracket to keep it from causing problems. Install a fresh O-ring onto the speed sensor and coat it with pure transmission fluid then place the new sensor in position. Fit the new speed sensor through the bore by placing itsipheral hole onto the boss bolt slot. Fit the speed sensor bolt and tighten it at 12 Newton meters (108 inch pounds). Reattach the external wiring connection to the speed sensor at the end.
