How to replace the Idle Control Valve on 2001 Chevrolet Venture?

In a bid to replace the Idle Control Valve, canister purge valve is removed and electrical connection is disconnected. Unscrew and remove the attaching screws and the valve together with its O-ring. Install the new O-ring and valve, attach it, and reconnect the electrical connector and reconnect the canister purge valve. The engine should be started to clear the valve.
