As the second step you need to remove valve rocker arms together with pushrods. Installation begins with prelube gm p/n 1052365 or its equivalent product applied to push rod ends before placing intake valve push rods at their original position because they have a length of 144 mm (5.75 inches) (yellow) followed by exhaust valve push rods at 152.5 mm (6.0 inches) (green). The prelube should be used to coat all friction surfaces present on the Rocker Arm. The valve Rocker Arm bolts require tightening to 19 nm (14 ft. Lbs.) with a torque angle of 30 degrees through use of the torque angle meter (J36660-A) before reinstallation of valve Rocker Arm covers.
