To remove and replace the door lock cylinder, make sure that you have the new cylinder and use the lubricant inside the lock case and the keyway. Unscrew the outer door handle, undo the lock cylinder retainer and off the cylinder. Fit the new cylinder, fix it, and re-fit the handle.
