Start by raising the vehicle correctly and supporting both it and the rear axle before proceeding with the Shock Absorber replacement process. You must disconnect automatic level control air lines from the Shock Absorber and then remove its upper bolts and finally its bottom nut. Before removing the Shock Absorber you must also remove the lower mounting bolt from four-door utilities. The installation of the new Shock Absorber begins by properly positioning the part then tightening the lower mounting bolt which applies to four-door utilities. Mounting bolts for the upper section must be tightened to 25 nm and the lower mounting nut must reach 84 nm for pickups and 2-door utility models, or reach 100 nm for 4-door utility models. The automatic level control air line should be reconnected when available before you take out the rear axle support to lower the car.
