How to replace the primary and secondary hood latch on 2001 GMC Savana 1500?

Lift and prop up the hood and mark the position of the latch to replace the hood latch. Take the bolts off and the release cable. Install the cable, align the latch to position it in the cable and align it with the marks. Tighten the bolts and shut the hood and adjust the latch and bumpers to get a flush fit.
