Position the Hood Latch fasteners and Hood Latch along the pencil marks on the hood before adjusting its position left or right to let the hood striker engage with the latch easily while also adjusting the height of the Hood Latch and front hood bumpers until the hood top matches the fenders perfectly. Close the hood after using the wrench to tighten bolts connecting the Hood Latch to the radiator support at 15 n.m (11 lb ft).
