How to replace the oil pan on 2001 GMC Savana 1500?

In order to replace the oil pan, unconnect the battery, lift up the vehicle and empty the engine oil. Take off requisite parts, such as oil filter and bolts. Wipe down surfaces with cleanliness, put on adhesive and put on new oil pan gasket. Install and tighten bolts and reassemble parts and fill crankcase with oil.
