Begin evaporative emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Valves replacement by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable followed by removing the purge solenoid electrical connector. The purge solenoid retaining nuts must be removed first before removing the purge solenoid from the Intake Manifold. Position the purge solenoid onto the Intake Manifold before tightening the retaining nuts. The procedure ends by connecting the evap purge solenoid electrical connector followed by restoring power to the negative Battery Cable.
