Start by first draining the Fuel Tank before loosening the Fuel Filler Hose clamp at the fuel filler pipe and removing the fuel filler pipe attaching screw from the underbody and then removing the fuel filler pipe. Reinstall the fuel filler pipe into position while using underbody screws to fasten it at 13 n.m (10 lb ft). Inspection of the filler hose positioning on both the Fuel Tank port and fuel filler pipe must be completed along with tank port clamp installation in the appropriate position between bead and tank. Then apply 2.5 n.m (22 lb in) torque. Lower the vehicle and install the fuel filler pipe screws to the fuel filler pipe access panel while tightening them to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in).
