Use a screwdriver to remove screws from the multifunction switch assembly parts and take it out from the steering column. Locate the electrical contact with a flat-blade tool to push it flat before placing the multifunction switch carefully onto the steering column. Insert the electrical contact onto the turn signal canceling cam during this process. Secure the multifunction switch assembly screws to their mounting positions by tightening them to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.).
