To install the Inner Tie Rod Replacement magnasteer Inner Tie Rod, collect the Inner Tie Rod wrench. Remove the rack-and-pinion boot, clamp the gear in a vise, and do not preload the gear. Remove the shock dampener and unscrew the inner tie rod from counterclockwise. Wash threads, apply loctite, replace, torque with wrench, stake assembly, check staking clearance, and reseat shock dampener.
