How to replace the starter motor on 2002 Buick Park Avenue?

Removing the starter motor would require disconnection of the battery negative cable as well as raising the vehicle to remove. Take off the torque converter cover, unscrew the battery positive cable and the solenoid wire and unscrew the starter motor. Install the starter again, put connections and assemble the vehicle.
