Begin by taking out the torque converter cover before disconnecting the Starter from the battery positive cable and separating the s terminal wire from the solenoid. The next step involves removing the two mounting bolts from the Starter motor while simultaneously removing the motor from its position. Mount the Starter motor onto its position then tighten the two Starter motor mounting bolts to 43 n.m (32 lb ft). Position the positive terminal of the battery while tightening it to 10 n.m (89 lb in) at the Starter. Then tighten the solenoid s terminal nut to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in) after wire connection. After placing the torque converter cover you must lower the vehicle while reconnecting the battery negative cable.
