    Q:
How to replace the starter motor on Buick LeSabre? Posted by Customer
    A:
Commence by disconnecting the battery negative cable followed by vehicle lifting then supporting. Start by removing the torque converter cover as well as disconnecting the positive Battery Cable from the Starter battery and the solenoid s terminal wire from the Starter. Start the procedure by removing the two bolts that secure the Starter motor and by removing the Starter motor itself. Install and position the Starter motor by using the mounting bolts which need tightening to 43 n.m (32 lb ft). The Starter positive cable requires 10 n.m (89 lb in) torque on its nut before connecting the s terminal wire while tightening the solenoid s terminal nut to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). The procedure ends with reinstalling the torque converter cover followed by lowering the vehicle before reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
