How to Replace a Power Steering Hose for Pressure Hose on 2002 Buick Regal?

A replacement of the power steering pressure hose requires placing a drain pan under the vehicle and removing the accessory Drive Belt first. First lift and stabilize the vehicle and remove the tire along with the wheel assembly from its position. The power steering pressure hose lays at the bottom of the power steering gear where technicians must detach it from the gear followed by removal from the Power Steering Pump and clamps on the power steering gear before extracting it from the vehicle. To begin fitting the power steering pressure hose on your vehicle start by fixing the new hose attachment points to the power steering gear clamps. Lbs.) and then link the hose to the power steering gear and secure the fitting to the same torque value.
