How to replace the Idle Control Valve on 2002 Buick Rendezvous?

In order to install Idle Control Valve, pull off throttle control cable bracket and canister purge valve. Unscrew the electrical connector and take out the valve, its O-ring. Make sure that the pintle is pressed down, put the new O-ring in and assemble. Lastly, set the valve ON and OFF by turning on and off the ignition.
