  A: To replace the assembly of the tail lamp or back up, sidemarker, stop, and turn signal bulbs start to remove the screws for the tail lamp from the liftgate. Pull the tail lamp rearward so that the tail lamp comes off the retainers on the rear body panel, then pull the tail lamp's electrical connector from the tail lamp harness. Depress the locking tab and turn the tail lamp and side marker lamp sockets counterclockwise, then remove the bulbs if a replacement is being done. To install, replace the new bulb into the tail lamp and side marker lamp sockets, and then tighten such sockets to the tail lamp by a clockwise rotation until the locking tab is full seated. Lap the tail lamp electrical connector onto the wiring harness, align the tail lamp retainer slots to the tabs on the rear body panel, press the tail lamp into place until it is fully seated. Install tail lamp screws and should be tightened with 2 N.m (18 lb in), and then close the liftgate.
