How to replace the overslam bumper on the rear compartment lid on 2002 Cadillac Eldorado?

Begin by opening the rear compartment lid to start replacing a damaged bumper on top of it. Use a counterclockwise twist to detache the overslam bumper then pull it out from the rear compartment lid opening. Insert the overslam bumper until it matches the threads in the rear compartment lid and turns all the way clockwise. After putting the bumper in place do not adjust it afterwards and push the rear compartment lid closed.
