  A: To service the cruise control module begin disconnect the cruise control cable from their locations and the electrical connector from the cruise control module assembly. Next, take out the cross car brace and the nut that hold the cruise control mounting bracket to the left strut tower, as well as the cruise control module assembly . Remove the fasteners holding the cruise control module to the mounting bracket and remove the cruise control module from the mounting bracket. For installation, mount the cruise control module on the mounting bracket and fasten it with the fasteners in 7.5 N.m (66 lb in). Then reinstall the cruise control module assembly onto the upper left strut tower and tighten with the nut to the stud. Put back the cross car brace and hooking the electrical connector onto the cruise control module assembly. Lastly, attach the cruise control cable to its positions with no need to make a mechanical adjustment after replacing, since the cruise control module will adjust the cable by itself.
