How to replace the Electric Cooling Fan Motor on 2002 Cadillac Eldorado?

The left-hand threaded Fan Blade retaining nut requires removal in an opposite direction to right-hand threading. Start by discharging the Fan Blade retaining nut on the motor before extracting the blade from the motor shaft. Next proceed with removing the motor retaining screws before taking the motor out of the shroud. Set the motor correctly into the shroud then install the motor retaining screws while tightening each screw to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). Affix the Fan Blade to the motor shaft by installing the Fan Blade retaining nut and tighten it to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.) before reattaching the cooling fan assembly.
