    Q:
How to replace the Electric Cooling Fan Motor on Cadillac Eldorado? Posted by Customer
    A:
The electric cooling Fan Motor replacement requires first removing the cooling fan assembly while paying attention to the left-hand thread Fan Blade retaining nut to prevent motor thread damage. The next step requires the removal of the Fan Blade retaining nut by detaching it from the motor before removing the Fan Blade from the motor shaft. You should detach all motor retaining screws before pulling the motor out of its shroud position. Insert the motor into the shroud before fastening it with the motor retaining screws according to a torque setting of 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). Put the Fan Blade on the motor shaft then fasten the Fan Blade retaining nut while tightening it to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). Reintegrate the cooling fan assembly as the last step.
