How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on 2002 Cadillac Eldorado?

Start by taking off the lower air deflector and collecting washer solvent from the reservoir into an appropriate receptacle. Detach the washer hose then disconnect the electrical connector from the washer pump base. Pry carefully until the washer pump loosens and pull it out of its place along with the washer pump grommet. Put the new washer pump grommet into the washer solvent container while applying clean water to lubricate the washer pump intake nozzle during installation. Fix the washer pump tightly into the washer solvent container and reconnect the electrical connector followed by reattachment of the washer hose. Put the lower air deflector back in and start by opening the hood to fill washer solvent in the container. Close the hood when done and check if the wiper washers work as expected.
