  Start replacement of the windshield washer components by taking out the air filter housing before moving the powertrain control module into position. Unscrew the upper part and take away the wheelhouse extension piece from the left side. Unplug both electric connections then take out the washer hose. Lastly, remove the two tank nuts fastening the washer solvent reservoir. Unplug the Washer Pump from the solvent reservoir and take off the solvent level sensor. First join the solvent level sensor to the washer solvent container and mount the Washer Pump onto the container. Secure the washer solvent container with its two nuts and tighten them to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Rejoin electrical connections and the washer hose before putting back the left wheelhouse panel extension and its upper mounting screw which need 5 n.m (44 lb in) of tightening torque. Move back the powertrain control module before putting the air filter housing back in place.

  The first step to service the windshield Washer Pump is to unlock the powertrain control module while taking out the air filter housing. Begin your work by removing both parts of the left wheelhouse panel extension and the upper mounting screw. Disconnect both electrical wires and remove the washer hose before taking off two nuts from the solvent container. Detach the Washer Pump from the washer container and withdraw the solvent level sensor from inside it. Start by placing the solvent level sensor into the washer solvent container and then insert the Washer Pump. Fit the washer solvent container into the two nuts and tighten them to 5 n.m strength (44 lb in). Connect all electrical connectors and washer hose before reattaching the left wheelhouse panel extension and tightening its upper screw to 5 n.m force (44 pound-inch measurement). Realign and fix the powertrain control module before putting back the air filter housing in place.
