How to replace the Back Up Light Switch on 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier?

To change the back up lamp switch, first the back up lamp connector and then pull off the back up light switch assembly while attempting to fit a socket to avoid damaging the switch assembly. While installing the back up light switch, apply an equal of pipe sealant GM P/N 1052080 and tighten the switch to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.). Finally connect the back up lamp connector.
