Starting the process of fixing the Starter motor begins with removing the negative Battery Cable from the system. Start by removing the wiring harness bracket nut attached to the Starter bolt followed by raising the vehicle. After removing the flywheel inspection shield start by disconnecting the electrical connections from the Starter. After disconnecting the Starter bolts proceed to remove the Starter device. To install the Starter you must position it accordingly on the engine but always follow the fastener notice in service precautions. The Starter bolts need to be installed before being tightened to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Complete the electrical installation to the Starter by putting back the flywheel inspection shield then lower the vehicle. Finally, connect the negative Battery Cable after securing the Starter bolt with the wiring harness bracket nut.
