How to Replace the Secondary Air Injection Pump on 2002 Chevrolet Corvette?

To change the Secondary air injection AIR pump, first raise the vehicle, then remove the left hand side lower close-out panel. Then unplug the hoses from the AIR pump and remove the electrical connector. Take off the AIR pump mounting bolts (Wrench) from the bracket and remove the AIR pump. For installation, align the new AIR pump and fit mounting bolts (torque to 9 N.m (80 lb in)). Reinstall the electrical connector to the AIR pump and then install the hoses. Lastly, reinstall the left hand side close-out panel, lower the vehicle and check the AIR system for proper operation.
