  A: Begin the windshield Washer Reservoir replacement process by opening the hood then draining all washer solvent from the Washer Reservoir. Start by removing Washer Reservoir nuts and the washer hose retention clamp from the frame rail stud. Unfasten the Washer Reservoir from its mounting studs inside the wheelhouse before disconnecting the level sensor electrical connector, Washer Pump electrical connector, and Washer Pump hose until you can remove the reservoir from the vehicle. During installation position the new Washer Reservoir on the vehicle then connect the Washer Pump hose followed by installation of the Washer Pump electrical connector and then the Washer Reservoir level sensor electrical connector. Install the Washer Reservoir onto its mounting studs in the wheelhouse while following the fastener notice in service precautions and tighten the Washer Reservoir nuts to 8 n.m (71 lb in). Attach the washer hose retention clamp to the frame rail stud before filling the Washer Reservoir with washer solvent and then closing the hood.
