How to service and repair the wiper arm on 2002 Chevrolet Corvette?

With the hood raised you need to set the ignition to accy first then switch the wiper to delay before starting the Wiper Arm repair process. When the wiper arms stand still in their inner position turn the engine off. Use duct tape on the windshield to each wiper tip as a guide during reinstallation. Unplug the washer hose from the air inlet screen and take out the Wiper Arm nut cover along with the Wiper Arm nut. Use the Wiper Arm puller tool number j 39822 to disconnect the Wiper Arm from the transmission. Fits the new Wiper Blade on the Wiper Arm, directing it to the spot marks made on the windshield by masking tape. Insert the Wiper Arm onto its proper position on the wiper transmission then fasten it by tightening the Wiper Arm nut to 25 n.m (18 lb ft) torque. Reattach the wiper rod cover and the washer tube at the ventilation screen. Examine if the wipers move correctly by taking off the tape from the windshield.
