How to replace the vacuum brake booster on 2002 Chevrolet Express 2500?

Start by removing the Brake Master Cylinder before disconnecting the vacuum hose from the check valve and taking off the check valve from the power Brake Booster. Clear out the Brake Pedal by first removing the Pushrod retainer parts together with the stoplamp switch and Pushrod. Pull the power Brake Booster out from its location on the front engine cowl including the separating gasket. Put the gasket between the front engine cowl and power Brake Booster before you attach the power Brake Booster onto the cowl. Tighten four retaining nuts on the Brake Pedal bracket using 36 nm (27 ft. Lbs.) torque but perform equal tightening in a cross pattern (right lower, left upper, left lower, and right upper) and then achieve final specifications. Recheck all tightness before placing the stoplamp switch followed by Pushrod installation and pushing the retainer onto the Brake Pedal. Secure the check valve to the power Brake Booster then link its vacuum hose to run before placing the Brake Master Cylinder on top.
