  A: Start antenna cable service and repair by taking the radio and instrument panel storage compartment out of the vehicle. The instrument panel requires removal of its two antenna extension cable retainers followed by removal of the right side carpet retainer. The antenna extension cable requires access when you pull back the carpet so you can disconnect it from the main body harness. Start by uninstalling the antenna extension cable from the vehicle before you connect the new replacement antenna extension cable to the main body harness. Reposition the carpet to achieve your preferred look after which reinstall the right side carpet retainer and the two antenna extension cable rosebud retainers to the instrument panel. Install back the instrument panel storage compartment followed by the radio unit.
