In order to install the new valve lifters, take off the lower intake manifold, rocker arms, and pushrods keeping the lifters in order. Then remove the valve lifter guide bolts and guide and then remove the lifter. Installation of the lifters, coating them and fixing the guide with bolts, and then reinstating the rocker arms and the manifold.
