How to replace the Lash Adjusters on 2001 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to change the valve lifters, you have to remove the lower Intake Manifold, then the rocker arms and pushrods, as long as you remember to take the valve lifters out for the purpose of reinstallation at their original positions. Next, take off the bolts of the valve lifter guide and the valve lifter guide and get the valve lifter out. For installation, replace the lifters into their original positions and treat each with gm p/n 1052365 or another similar product. You then install the valve lifter guide while following the fastener notice in service precautions, and then tighten the valve lifter guide bolts to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Finally, replace the rocker arms and pushrods, then the lower Intake Manifold.
