How to replace the washer reservoir on 2002 Chevrolet Malibu?

Start by emptying the washer solvent from its storage unit before taking off the air cleaner intake duct. First detach the washer pump electrical connector and hose from the washer pump alongside the washer solvent level sensor connector. Detach the washer solvent container from the frame rail by removing its mounting screws. Place the new washer solvent container onto the frame rail and fasten its screws by tightening them to 6 N.m (53 lb in). Connect the washer solvent level sensor wires and then join the washer pump wiring and hose to its components. After that put back the air cleaner intake tube and put washer solvent into the washer solvent reservoir.
