    A: Service technicians must replace the entire cruise control module which rests on the left strut tower. Start your work by disconnecting the cruise control cable from the cruise control module before removing the electrical connector. Following the removal of the shock tower nuts you should take out the cruise control module. Installation requires placement of the cruise control module onto shock tower mounting studs with attention to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Install the cruise control module using mounting nuts while tightening them to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Connect the cruise control module's electrical connector back into place. After replacing the cruise control cable the module automatically adjusts it internally so mechanical adjustment is unnecessary. Mount the cruise control cable to the cruise control module.
