How to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

The mass air flow (MAF) sensor replacement begins by turning off the ignition. Connectors from the iat sensor and maf sensor need removal before proceeding. Removing the maf sensor requires detachment of the air inlet duct both from the Throttle Body and maf sensor while the maf sensor also needs removal from the air filter housing. Reconnecting the installation requires you to slot the maf sensor inside the air filter housing before you reconnect the air inlet duct both to the maf sensor and Throttle Body. Complete the connection of iat sensor electrical connector along with maf sensor electrical connector. Perform a start and idle test of the engine before checking the air intake duct for any leaks.
