  A: Before starting the air cleaner replacement process turn off the ignition and disconnect three components: intake air temperature sensor (IAT), breather tube from air intake duct and Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF). Begin by loosening clamps on the air intake duct/maf sensor hose before slowly extracting the air inlet hose between the Throttle Body and air cleaner cover. First remove the two housing cover retaining clamps before removing the air cleaner cover to access the Air Filter. Examine both the housing cover and seal assembly along with the air duct to verify no signs of damage. Reinstallation begins by placing the Air Filter into the assembly followed by securing the housing cover with its retaining screws. Reinstall the air inlet hose between the Throttle Body and air cleaner cover, securing its clamp with proper tightness. Attache the air intake duct with the maf sensor assembly then secure the hose clamps. Reconnect the breather tube alongside the maf sensor and the iat sensor.
