How to service and repair the heater core on 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

To service and repair the heater core, remove the air cleaner assembly and fuel injector sight shield. Drain the coolant and remove the heater hoses. Remove the instrument panel insulators and lower console. Take the heater outlet cover and core off and discard old seals. Install new seals and the heater core and reassemble all the parts and refill the coolant.
