How to replace the right Blend Door Actuator on 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Begin right air temperature actuator replacement by removing both the right side instrument panel (IP) insulator and IP compartment. First disconnect the electrical connector from the right air temperature actuator and then uninstall the retaining screws to extract the actuator from its position. Position the new right air temperature actuator by making sure slots in the electric actuator driver match the shaft flats while also ensuring the locating hole lines up with the HVAC module's alignment pin. Advance the actuator until both the actuator driver settles entirely while its mounting holes align naturally with the HVAC module case's mounting screws. Use 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) torque to tighten screws that fasten the right air temperature actuator. After reattaching the electrical connector to the actuator, reinstall the IP compartment along with right side IP insulator.
