How to replace the LH Blend Door Actuator on 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

The left air temperature actuator replacement process begins by removing both the left instrument panel insulator and knee bolster bracket bracket. Disengage the power wiring of the left air temperature actuator followed by removing its retaining screws to extract it from its housing. When installing the new left air temperature actuator line up the electric actuator driver slots with the shaft flats while ensuring the mounting hole lines up with the HVAC module case alignment pin. Squeezing the actuator forward onto the shaft until it reaches the fully-seated position of the actuator driver and mounting holes meet the HVAC module case screws. After screw installation with 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) torque, connect the actuator's electrical connector. The installation ends with replacement of the knee bolster bracket bracket and the left instrument panel insulator.
