How to replace the right-hand Blend Door Actuator on 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Before you can remove the right-hand temperature actuator, take off the right side instrument panel insulator and remove the instrument panel compartment. Unplug the electrical connector from the temperature actuator, take out the bolts that hold it, and pull out the actuator. For installation, put the temperature actuator in position and line up the slots of the electric actuator driver with the flats on the temperature valve shaft. Attach the electric actuator driver to the shaft, making sure its locating holes fit over the forward pin on the HVAC module case as the actuator driver goes all the way onto the shaft and its holes are lined up with the mounting bosses on the case. Put the bolts into the temperature valve electric actuator and tighten them to 1.5 N.m or 13 lb-inch. Connect the electric connector to the temperature actuator and then put back the instrument panel compartment and the right side instrument panel insulator.
