Q: How to replace the rear sway bar link on 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?
A: In order to replace the rear Sway Bar Link, first lift and support the vehicle. Unscrew the Sway Bar Link nut, off the Sway Bar Link and the sway bar off the Sway Bar Link and nut of the strut. Then, remove the Sway Bar Link from the car. For installation, start by showing the Sway Bar Link back into the vehicle and fitting it onto the sway bar. Make sure you adhere to the fastener notice in service precaution, then attach the Sway Bar Link nut to the Sway Bar Link, and the sway bar, with the nut being tightened to 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.). Mount the Sway Bar Link to the strut and bolt the Sway Bar Link nut to the Sway Bar Link and strut using another 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.) of torque. Finally, lower the vehicle.
