How to properly remove and install the bumper on 2002 Chevrolet Prizm?

In order to install a new fascia, the rear bumper, unlock the rear compartment lid and then pull the trim panels and sill trim plate out. Unscrew the lamps on the license plate and take the securing nuts and retainers off. Unscrew the fascia, remove it and attach the new one and reconnect the parts and close the lid.
