How to replace the cooling fan motor on 2002 Chevrolet Venture?

Begin the cooling Fan Motor replacement process only when the ignition is off. The cooling fan and shroud assembly must be detached by turning the cooling fan nut clockwise until it becomes loose enough to remove the nut and fan from the shroud. First disconnect the electrical connector from the cooling Fan Motor before removing the motor screws and withdrawing the cooling Fan Motor. Position the new cooling Fan Motor before securing it with screws that reach a torque setting of 6 nm at 53 inch lbs. Reconnect the electrical connection to the cooling Fan Motor before installing the cooling fan onto the shroud and counterclockwise twisting motion on the cooling fan nut for proper installation. The installation process requires securing the cooling fan nut to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.) before you reattach both the cooling fan and shroud assembly.
