The auxiliary heater pipe clamp screw and the clamp need to be removed before taking out the left rear quarter trim panel. This process requires the hose clamps of the auxiliary inlet heater hose to slide onto the heater core pipe before loosening the hose at the heater core and sliding the extension down together. You should also secure the auxiliary outlet heater hose in the same way. The HVAC module assembly requires removal of the auxiliary heater core mounting screws to extract the heater core before detaching the mounting bracket from the core. Install the heater core mounting bracket onto the auxiliary heater core and position it within the HVAC module assembly by closing all screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in). Secure the hose clamps first to the auxiliary heater core pipes and then to the outlet and inlet heater hoses by achieving correct pipe alignment. Secure the auxiliary heater pipe clamp by tightening its screw to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).
