Start by disconnecting the auxiliary heater core from its position at the HVAC module assembly before removing the pipe seal and taking off the heater core mounting bracket from the auxiliary heater core. New seals must be installed onto the auxiliary heater core before you reinstall its mounting bracket according to the installation procedure. Attach new pipe seals to the auxiliary heater core before placing it into the HVAC module assembly by screwing in auxiliary heater core mounting screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in). Finally replace and tighten the auxiliary heater pipe clamp screw to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in) followed by the reinstallation of the auxiliary HVAC module.
