How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2002 GMC Safari?

To start, you should disconnect the negative Battery Cable before removing the stop lamp switch. First, take off the retainer from the brake pedal pin, and then pull the switch and Pushrod off it while disconnecting the electrical connector. When putting it back in, first connect the electrical connector, then put the switch and Pushrod onto the brake pedal pin and after that, attach the retainer to the brake pedal pin. In the end, put the battery negative cable back in place.
