How to replace the Headlight Switch on 2003 Buick Century?

Start by removing the headlamp switch by first pulling the rear side of the access opening cover from its left placement near the instrument panel using a plastic flat-bladed tool. Before removing the access opening cover you must pull forward the edge behind the hinge pillar. First remove the headlamp switch screws before carefully moving the switch toward the outboard direction to gain access to the electrical connector to disconnect it. Connect the electrical connector to the headlamp switch first before aligning the switch tabs to the i/p and pressing the switch into position before screw installation at 1.8 n.m (16 lb in). Secure the left i/p access opening cover by first inserting its forward edge behind the hinge pillar then matching the retainers to the i/p trim pad slots before applying firm pressure.
